Construction continues on several exciting enhancements at the Monroe County / Toledo North KOA, including two pools and a new splash pad area. While the project is still underway, key elements are beginning to take shape, and the team is working hard to bring these new amenities to life as soon as possible.
The new concession building — Big Kahuna’s — is now visibly taking form and will support both the water features and guest activities. The right side of the structure will house the bike and boat rental area, while the left will include six new bathrooms and the mechanical systems for the pools and splash pad.
The current pool will expand from 3’ to 5’ deep and just under 2,400 square feet. Digging for the second pool is set to begin in July. Once both pools are completed, construction will begin on the splash pad.
The Monroe County / Toledo North KOA looks forward to sharing additional details and the completion timeline once it is set. In the meantime, the campground continues to offer full seasonal fun with themed weekends and a full calendar of activities to keep families engaged and entertained.
