Last week, Kampgrounds of America, Inc. (KOA) invited the Cutler family, the majority owner of Recreational Adventures Co. (RAC), to visit their new home office in Billings, Montana.

Kent, Chris and Justin Cutler attended the event to represent the family. The visit included a tour of the new headquarters and a celebration of the Cutler family legacy and RAC’s foundational partnership with KOA over the last 46 years.

RAC, the largest franchisee of KOA campgrounds, is committed to providing guests with a fun, quality outdoor experience through superb professional service and superior amenities.

During the celebration, KOA CEO Toby O’Rourke shared the history of RAC’s longstanding relationship with KOA and expressed deep appreciation for the Cutler family. She noted the importance of RAC founder Richard Cutler’s statement that “RAC is not in the camping business, we’re in the entertainment business” as a guiding principle. She also pointed out how RAC consistently lives up to its name by providing exceptional recreational adventures.

A common theme emerged as KOA executives, including KOA Chief Operations Officer Darin Uselman, shared how generous and gracious the Cutler family has been through the years and their vital role in advancing the outdoor hospitality industry.

The Cutler family expressed gratitude for the relationship with the numerous KOA employees who attended the ceremony. A brief reception followed the ceremony on the KOA headquarters patio. After the reception, RAC and KOA executives were treated to a four-course meal by KOA’s caterer, Scratch Kitchen.
